Using Filixir

Filixir is free to download and use, at home or at work. You may not sell it, rent it out, or pass it off as your own.

Filixir Pro

• Filixir Pro is a one-time purchase of $19.99 (plus any sales tax shown at checkout). It isn't a subscription.
• Your key is for you. Use it on any PCs you own or use yourself. Don't share it publicly or sell it.
• Pro includes the updates we release for this version of Filixir. If a future major version is sold separately, your key keeps working with the version you have.
• A key that was refunded, charged back or published online can be switched off.

Payment

Purchases on filixir.app are handled by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record: they take the payment, charge any sales tax or VAT that applies, and issue your receipt. Their terms cover the payment itself.

Refunds

See the refund policy: a full refund within 14 days, no questions asked.

Your files

Filixir works on your PC and never uploads your files. It only reads the files you open and saves its copies as new files beside them. Keep backups of anything important, as you would with any software.

No warranty

Filixir is provided as it is. Old files can be damaged or use variations of a format that Filixir can't read yet, so we can't promise that every file will open or convert perfectly. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss beyond the amount you paid for Filixir Pro.

Other software in Filixir

Filixir can download free add-ons made by others: the LibreOffice engine (Mozilla Public License 2.0) from The Document Foundation and the VLC engine (LGPL 2.1) from the VideoLAN project. They are covered by their own licences.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date. The terms that applied when you bought Pro still apply to that purchase.
