Open .xps files on Windows 10 and 11

XPS document files come from Windows XPS (2006 to today). Filixir opens them without the original program. View and save as PDF now that Windows 11 has no XPS Viewer. Saved PDFs show the pages as pictures.

How to open one

  1. Download Filixir. It's free for Windows 10 and 11 and installs without an administrator password.
  2. Double-click your .xps file, or right-click it and choose Open with › Filixir. You can also drag it onto Filixir.
  3. Look through it in Filixir, then save it in the format you want. Your original file is never changed.
